Re-certification & Inspection

All personal fall protection equipment, including PPE such as harnesses and installed anchor devices, must be independently inspected and certified at least once every 12 months.


For rope access operations covered by LOLER the interval must be no more than 6 months. Using out-of-date or damaged PFPE in the workplace is a serious offence and potentially places lives in danger.


Our fully-trained team of installation engineers provides an on-site re-certification service for all types of PFPE, safety anchors, escape and rescue equipment that is linked to our electronic management database.


Equipment inspections are recorded using an electronic scanner system and the data is able to be viewed via the on-line Team Room that can be allocated to customers upon request.


Clients will receive automatic notice of an impending expiry and can book an inspection before the item becomes illegal to use. We carry full ranges of spares and replacements, minimising delays to your business, and our engineers can all use advanced access techniques to reach equipment in safety even when it requires repair. Equipment that passes inspection is labelled and a certificate issued for your records.
