The organisation provides a safe and efficient means of access to undertake a wide variety of tasks. Its principal aim is to ensure that work carried out by its members using industrial rope access techniques, is done in a safe and high quality manner.

IRATA's independently-audited accident reports demonstrate that its training and operational work delivers the safest means of working at height. Its audit scheme ensures standards are maintained and that those working in the industry are competent.

Achilles provide a standardised Safety, Health, Environment and Quality assessment on behalf of subscribing utilities, transport, oil and gas providers.

Focused primarily on business critical contracts with a high emphasis on SHEQ, the scheme provides an opportunity for suppliers and contractors to demonstrate their capability through a single standardised process.

Through the consultative procedure, working with an independent assessor and culminating in an on-site visit, companies will provide a comprehensive insight into their business in these key areas. At the end of the process, the Executive Summaries, Scores and Full Reports are made available via Achilles.com to the subscribing members.

TAG is accredited to the Utilities Verify scheme and Transport Link Up schemes.
