Entertainment Industry
TAG's Access All Areas program is designed specifically for the live entertainment, film and TV
industries. Created by experienced riggers, the courses cover the full range of
skills from basic height safety (ladders, MWP/genieboom, unprotected edges)
through rigger climbing, load lifting, truss calculations and rescue.
- Safe Access
A basic height safety/equipment inspection course for anyone at risk from falling. Covers
basic PPE, regulations and safe working practices. Complies with the
requirements for competence under the Work At Height Regulations.
- Rigger Climber
A full-range climbing/rope
access course, compliant with BS7985 and the WAHR. This course enables riggers
to safely climb and access all types of structure, from roofspaces through
truss and scaffolding. Includes basic rescue.
- Aerial Rescue
A dedicated course for rescue of performers from flying systems, this is aimed at location safety
teams, riggers, stunt arrangers and of course fly system operators.
- Rigger Lifting
A LOLER-based course dedicated to the entertainment industry, covering load calculations on
temporary structures, anchors, truss, use of power hoists and legislation.
As all of these courses are equipment-specific, TAG strongly suggest that training occurs
at the client's venue. TAG can arrange venues for courses should they be
