ER03 Entertainment Rigger : Aerial Rescue

This 3 day course is designed for experienced persons who are required to provide rescue support to the entertainment industry; including Film/TV, Theatre, Rock and Roll, from planning through to practicing rescue scenarios. Based around powered and manual performer flying systems the course aims to provide rescuers with the knowledge and experience to be able to provide sensible solutions in often unusual and pressured circumstances. The course complies with BS 7985 & BS 7905. There is an element of assessment in this course.
Prerequisites
Those attending should be medically fit to carry out the practical part of the course. All candidates should have industry experience and a valid certification for our Entertainment Rigger Climber course or equivalent.
Who Should Attend
Riggers, stunt arrangers and supervisors who must provide advanced rescue and safety provisions for artists and performers working at height in film and live scenarios, including rescue from flyer systems. It is beyond that usually required for rigger self-rescue.
Course Objectives & Content
On completion of the course, all delegates will be informed in:
- Evaluate and plan the rescue requirements from job to job
- Know current / relevant standards and legislation
- Produce method statements and risk assessments relating to performer flying / rescue
- Confidently carry out a rescue of a performer in a safe and timely manner

Certification
